As the temperature on the 2nd day of Winter reached just into double figures in country Victoria, Dusty was found by a member of the public and surrendered into care after being orphaned. Lambs are unable to regulate their body temperature in the first days of life so Dusty was fortunate to have avoided the fate millions of lambs face every year in Australia – that of dying alone in a paddock. Dusty is a dear little fellow who is happy and healthy. He doesn’t really walk but instead he bounces!
