It is quite common for lambs, alone and frightened, to be found by members of the public. Tilly is one such lamb who was found without her mother on a cold and wet winter day. Luckily for Tilly she was taken in and surrendered into our care. She would have had little chance of surviving through an even colder night on her own. She is now warm and safe and will soon be taken for the initial vet check that all the lambs who come into our care receive. Tilly, unlike millions of other lambs just like her who die every year on Australian farms, will be loved and cared for and allowed to live a life free from the fear of harm and a premature death.
