Milo was a typical rescue – found by a person who saw him alone in a paddock, with no sheep or farmhouse in sight. He was delivered into our care today. Farms cover such enormous areas that it is impossible for the farmers to monitor all the animals in their care. The thought of all the millions of lambs who die alone, shortly after birth, is something too horrifying to ponder for long. All we can do is take in the lambs who are fortunate enough to reach our care and give them the life that so many others miss out on. Milo will now be one of the lucky ones, soon to go into the capable hands of one of carers.
