Elizabeth and Philip

Elizabeth and Philip were rescued together at only a day or 2 old. They spent the first 8 weeks of their lives with one of our marvellous foster carers until an unfortunate accident occurred.

Philip was kicked by a horse and suffered damage to his fetlock and a broken leg. Fearing the worst, after a night on strong pain relief, he was collected the following morning and transported to one of our specialist vets. Later that day we were relieved to be told that a cast could be applied to Philip’s leg and that he would regain most, if not all, mobility.

Elizabeth and Philip are inseparable to this day and are an example of the bond that grows between lambs who spend their lives together and the reason why we only rehome lambs in pairs. Just like humans, they are capable of strong friendships that will last a lifetime.
