Up to 15 million lambs die in the first 48 hours of life on Australian farms every year. 2 little lambs were saved from that fate just today. Comet and Jimmy were both orphaned and stood no chance of surviving without their mothers. Fortunately for them, they were both spotted and have now been delivered into our care. Although they are sure to be grieving the loss of their mothers, at the moment they are at least safe from harm and feeling loved and cared for by their surrogate mother. Another 2 lives saved from death who will now live a long and happy life.
